Your Kelowna Church (1052)
If you're new to KGF, we want to make sure you know who to connect with. That's why at Starting Point we now have the names and face of our Staff & Board team, so it'll be easier for you to move from the foyer to the family!
Some of the amazing behind the scenes work going on around KGF to get things ready for our Fall ministry season! Thanks to Pastor Jamie and a great team of volunteers (including Bob Harkness, Jessica Smith, Jessie-Lynn Daase and more!) for helping get things in ship shape. Join us for Kickoff Sunday September 7th, 8:30am, 10:00am, and 11:30am.
Wonderful to spend time with Errol Martens, one of KGF's key missions partners. Errol has dedicated 30 years of his life to sharing the love of Jesus with the 58,000 residents of Greenland. Tuesday he stopped by our staff meeting to share some of the awesome stories and victories he's seen. He also has several exciting projects and opportunities on the horizon! We are grateful for people like Errol, who's heart for Jesus and His kingdom beats so strong! Stay tuned to hear from Errol this Fall. http://www.ywamgreenland.com/
Thank you Dennis Klassen for your faithfulness in keeping the "message" clear Making the change for 3 services now, 8:30am, 10:00am, and 11:30am starting this Sunday September 7th!
What happens when you get five pastors, one gifted videographer in a room with a green screen? Find out at KGF's Kickoff Sunday September 7th, 8:30am, 10:00am, and 11:30am. Hint. . .there'll be bloopers!
Some people have the mistaken belief that baptism is for those who have "arrived" in their spiritual journey. It's not. It's for those who are admitting they're beginning!
Want to find out more? Pastor Mike and Pastor Levi are facilitating a Baptism class this Wednesday September 4th, 7 - 8:30pm in the Fireside Room @ KGF, and you're invited! The baptisms are taking place in Okanagan Lake at City Park Sunday afternoon September 14th, 3pm.
Join us this Wednesday evening so that together we can help you take that step of going public with your faith! Drop us a note that you're coming, firstname.lastname@example.org
The HUB is really taking shape now, with new comfortable chairs now in place for all the ministry activities and connections that will take place in this new season!
We anticipate the lighting to go in this week, and the HUB to be fully functional for Kickoff Sunday September 7th! You are going to want to be part of our inaugural Family Potlucks, choosing one of three nights, Monday September 15th, Tuesday September 16th, and Wednesday September 17th. Bring a dish and join us to build relationships of significance in this great new space!
This just keeps getting better and better. . . After the second Sunday of receiving donations for Raise the Roof, we are SO EXCITED to be able to share the total.
The money raised directly here at KGF is now $46,000. Plus $7,000 that has gone directly to (or is going to) Gardom Lake
So we anticipate that we’re in the $53,000 range!! Plus, there are many people who have pledged a penny per dollar the KGF Church Family raised, so this will push it tens of thousands of dollars higher. Be still my heart, what a kingdom win!
You can continue to support this great cause directly through Gardom Lake, www.gardomlake.ca We’ll keep you updated on the building project and exciting developments.
Thank you for your faithful partnership with this wonderful ministry that is seeing lives transformed for Jesus!

Are you in? Invite a friend and join us for Kickoff Sunday 2014 @ KGF.
There are lots of reasons that keep us away from church on a Sunday morning. A sick kid, a broken down vehicle, bad weather.
But soon, you will be able to join the KGF Church Family live through your computer screen! We are in final testing to make our 8:30am & 10:30am service available via LiveStream, meaning you will be able to watch the service in its entirety at either 8:30am or 10:00am. How awesome is that?!
Thanks to Galen Bond, our Technical Director, and the fine video production team for helping make this happen. Stay tuned for launch Sunday in September!
