We have just published our Annual Reports in advance of our Annual General Meeting Sunday February 20th.  It's a very encouraging book, and I encourage you to download your own copy here:

As I read through this booklet, I stand in awe at what God is accomplishing!  It even spurred other memories from 2010, just wanted to put them out there (in no particular order)  to encourage you.

BreakForth Worship Conference – Seven of us took in this incredible ministry equipping conference in Edmonton.

New Pictoral Directory – As part of our 50th Jubilee Weekend, we put together a new pictoral directory of our family (thanks to Basil & Kristi Cooper).  You can pick up your copy of this at the Info Desk to help you get to know the faces of our church family!  Loved the Deep Roots, New Shoots theme.

Baby Bottles – So exciting to raise nearly $11,000 to bless and support the Okanagan Valley Pregnancy Care Center!

Food Bank – Christmas in July – Our campaign raised more than 2,300 pounds of food to help families in our community.

Christmas Shoeboxes – KGF was once again the depot for the region, packing up thousands of shoeboxes (including hundreds from our own family!) to be distributed by Samaritan’s Purse to kids around the world.

Okanagan Gleaners – So great to be a part of their soup mixing days, helping package half-a-million servings of soup. We also had a team go down in June to help process the peppers and veggies.  Great organization.

Family Sundays – 2010 was the beginning of our Family Sundays, specific days we set aside to minister to the whole family.  So exciting to see how this is developing.

Board Retreats – Our board is continuing to get stronger in our planning and visioning piece, with two annual retreats to do just that.  We head up to Gardom Lake in February and Big White in August for 24 hour prayer and planning times.

Good Friday – a simple but powerful walk through the final hours of Jesus’ life.  Nailing sins to the cross provided a meaningful opportunity to personalize the work of Jesus in our lives.

Father’s Day BBQ & Carnival – It was a beautiful day to be outside enjoying burgers and bounce-houses!  Great memories and relationship building time.

Extreme Camp Makeover – 17 of us men, from teens to 70 something, spent a day at Gardom Lake building their new snack shack. . . far from a shack, it was incredible what can happen in just one day when we work together!

Men of Purity Breakfast – challenging men to take purity seriously.  Provided practical tools to do just that.

Leadership Summit – 12 of us spent two days being inspired and equipped for the work of leadership in our church.

Child Dedications, Baptisms, Newcomer Lunches, Prayer Nights, and so much more. . . may God expand our faith in him and our vision for this community!  What a great year to celebrate.
