Easter @ KGF!
As a church family, we have been on a Journey to the Cross for six weeks, and this concludes with Good Friday on April 22nd. It was on Friday 2,000 years ago that the King of Glory was nailed to a cross of wood. He traded His life for our freedom. What a gift.
We are inviting you to join us Good Friday morning, 9am, for a special dramatic presentation that walks us through those dark hours. The truth is we can’t celebrate the joy of Easter Sunday until we rest in the darkness of Good Friday. Please come early to ensure a good seat. There will be childcare available for ages 5 and under.
Thankfully, the story doesn’t stop there. For He Is Risen!! We celebrate that together Easter Sunday April 24th. We will be having two identical services Easter Sunday, 9am and 11am. There will be nursery available for children up to age 2 ½, with the rest of our kids joining us for the celebration service.
Easter is a fantastic time to invite friends and family and neighbors and co-workers to experience the difference Jesus makes. We have invite cards available at the Info Desk at KGF, or just forward them this website and let them know what your experience has been like at KGF.
“He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly. He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:22-25
