Easter Week Schedule - KGF

jesus tomb-1Welcome to Easter Week at KGF! April 1st is Palm Sunday, the start of Jesus’ passion week, leading to the cross and Easter morning. This week is the exact center point of the Christian faith, and it begins with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey. As we’ll see this Sunday, you and I are invited to be part of the praise procession.

Kids on Palm Sunday!

Kids will have a special part of our morning, so go big with those palm branches! Parents, please gather with your children in the foyer just before the service starts. They have been practicing singing & shouting hosanna, and this is our chance to let loose! Plus, we have a kids focus on stage, and a gift for you to take home, a family devotional for this Easter week. You are so special to us!

Prayer Night – April 1st

This is a big week for our church family, and we want to prepare our hearts for what God wants to do in us and through us. April 1st is also our First Sunday Prayer night, 7pm in the Fireside Room. These are awesome gatherings, and you are encouraged to join us! We want to be a church family that is growing in prayer.

Good Friday

Join us at 10 am Good Friday. We can’t celebrate the joy of Easter Sunday until we rest in the darkness of Good Friday. There will be an open Nursery, so parents may stay with their child.

Easter Sunday

We will have two identical services Easter Sunday, 9 am & 11 am. Easter is Family Sunday, so there are no classes for Kid's church and Sunday school. There will a staffed Nursery though for ages 2 ½ and under. We are asking everyone to come to church on Easter with Bells. Seriously! It is a long held tradition to ring bells on Easter to celebrate the risen Lord! So each time we say, “He is Risen”, the bells will ring out! We’ll have some extra bells, but if you have some, bring them! KGF church will definitely ring out with praise!
