Gardom Lake Update - July 23, 2011

Wow Camp 4 has come and gone, I can't believe how fast the summer goes. We had another fantastic week. Sitting in on Thursdays campfire was such a blessing as the campers shared how they have been challenged and want to grow in Christ. I was impacted by how many campers were fist timers to GLBC. We had 88 Spiritual decisions made; 23 campers made a decision to follow Christ and 65 rededicated their lives to following a more committed relationship to Christ. We had 116 campers at our main camp and 15 at our Encounter camp. Our Speakers this week were Daniel Derksen at the main camp and Glen Kyle at Encounter. Our campers were greatly encouraged and challenged by them. 

Please let the teens in your churches know that there is still room in our teen week (ages 14 to 16) camp this upcoming week.

 

We have surpassed 1000+ campers this summer! We are very grateful to God for this, especially since we know there are other camps that are having a tough time getting campers. Our staff are amazing with the love they have poured on our campers we have been really blessed this year.
