Thanksgiving weekend is here, and with it KGF’s 50th Jubilee Celebrations!  Wow.  I love the fact we can look back and forwards with joy.  I love the theme our team has come up with, "Deep Roots - New Shoots", because that so describes what is happening here at KGF.  I once read that faith is long obedience in the same direction, and that is exactly what I see when I look at this church family. Thank you for the strong legacy of faithfulness you are writing each and every day!

Over the past 6 weeks, we have been hearing the stories of those who have been part of this family over the past five decades.  They are all online, and you can watch and read them in our video and blog section of the website

Since our beginning in 1960, Kelowna Gospel Fellowship has sought to be a church that follows Jesus’ call to love God and others. Today, we express that in our mission statement, "Knowing Jesus and making Him known". Our heart in all we do is to create places of belonging where people can discover Jesus and be equipped to follow him. And the underpinning values of this congregation remain constant: grounded in the Bible, guided by the Spirit and growing in Prayer.

We invite you to be a part of our celebrations this weekend.

Friday October 8th, we’re gathering at the church for a time of reconnecting and reminiscing, 7 – 9pm in the Fireside Room & Gymnasium.  All welcome to look over some of the history of this church family.

Saturday October 9th we have our big banquet at the Coast Capri Hotel.  This is going to be great, and we have over 280 tickets sold, but still have a spot or two left, so please contact the office, 250-763-6553 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to confirm yours.  Doors open at 5:30pm.  It’s semi-formal, so wear something nice!

Sunday October 10th, our 50th Jubilee service, 10am at KGF.  It’s going to be a celebration of the God who is faithful, as we honor the deep roots and cheer on the new shoots!  The morning will be filled with surprises and great memories.  Plan to come early and stick around after.  We are also going to be distributing our new Pictorial Directory on Sunday so grab your copy then!

It's an exciting season of life and ministry at KGF. God is doing something special in our midst, especially with our kids and young families. That is such a healthy thing for a church celebrating its 50th!  Our prayer is that God would continue to allow us to be a lighthouse, shining bright in this generation, in this city, for His glory!

We thank God for each of you, and consider it a great privilege to walk beside you in this journey of life and faith.  Know that you are loved!

"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20, NLT
