RUSH Lives Up To Its Name!
1400 High School students descended on KSS February 18-20, but not for school. They were gathering to take part in the 8th annual RUSH Youth Conference, put on by Willow Park Church. Students from all over the province enjoyed an incredible weekend of worship, speaking, and activities. Several of our own took in the festivities (while two other out of town youth groups crashed at KGF for the weekend so their students could attend as well). Here's a report from Josh Landie on what he experienced at RUSH 2011
This being my first time going to Rush, I didn’t know what to expect. But now that I’ve experienced it, I definitely want to go next year. There is just one thing I need to remember for next year though: bring earplugs. Those concerts are really, really loud.
I would also just like to thank our youth leaders Jessica, Scott, Mike, Crystal, and Louise for all the hard work that they do for all of the youth. They volunteer to do a lot of work that a youth pastor gets paid for, and the youth ministry would not be nearly as good as it is without them. Again thanks to all of them, and keep up the good work!
