Sharing Your Story - Taking Jesus With You

Lately I have been hearing lots of stories of how God has worked amazingly in people’s lives.  And it totally excites me.  There is nothing more powerful than the testimony of a transformed life.  Because stories move us.  Real life stories challenge us.  Why do you think Reader’s Digest has “Drama in Real Life” articles?  Why do you think some movies begin with the words “Based on a True Story”?  Because people relate to the real life experiences of other human beings like them.

As we wrap up our four part series, “Taking Jesus With You”, we are talking about the power of story.  God wants us to get good at telling two stories:  Our Story, His Story, and how those two stories interact.

My encouragement to you is to get good at telling your story.  You can download a helpful guide here as you work through the specifics with clarity, humility and simplicity.  Then continually ask God to give you opportunities to naturally share this story with those you come in contact with.  It’s exciting!
