Walk a Block for Jesus!
I wanted to take this opportunity to talk with our church family about the great wave of blessing God is sending our way, and how we can prepare for it.
As you may have noticed, our parking lot is full every Sunday. This is great! It means God is doing something in our midst that people are excited about, and want to be in on
And this has only been summer time, when many of our own people are away on holidays. We will really notice a parking lot crunch come Kickoff Sunday September 12th, and into the Fall ministry season.
The challenge is if there are no parking spots, KGF does not become a very welcoming place for people who are new. They will drive onto the lot, find it full, and not know where to go or what to do. We don’t want to make it difficult for new people to come to KGF.So here is what we are asking. We are asking you to sacrifice some of your personal comfort and convenience so that KGF can continue to be a welcoming place for new people. We want to reserve our parking lot for people in one of four categories:
- Newcomers
- Young Families
- Seniors
- Disabled
If you’re in one of those categories, please continue to feel free to park on the lot. If those descriptions don’t fit you, would you help us by parking on Casorso and “walking a block for Jesus”? Casorso Road Elementary is also open Sunday mornings for our use. If you could plan to arrive five minutes earlier to allow for the short walk, that would be great.
Thanks for partnering with us as we seek to Know Jesus and Make Him Known. I love being at KGF, and look forward to where the Lord is going to take this church family!
