Have you ever asked the question "why don't people believe?"   It's an important question, and in part 3 of our series "Reasonable Faith?", we welcome Dr. Paul Chamberlain, leading Canadian Christian apologist to tackle it.

Dr. Chamberlain is a professor at Trinity Western University and ACTS Seminaries.  He is the author of six books on the subject, the latest one being released in 2011 and entitled: “Why People Don’t Believe: Confronting Seven Challenges to Christian Faith.”

Paul’s passion is to equip believers to communicate the message of God’s love to their friends and neighbours in a way that is accurate, credible, and relevant to their lives. We know you'll enjoy what he brings!

Guest preacher Shawn Klassen turns our attention to the power Jesus has over the Spiritual realm in our summer series "More than a Miracle".  Mark 9:14-29

Called & Gifted to Serve!

The amazing thing about the body of Christ that is the church is that there is a role for everybody!  God not only calls us but gifts us to serve in His kingdom work.  Guest preacher Rob Dyck brings a passionate message about being available to what God might be opening up for you in the area of serving Him.
When we think of gardens, we often think of beautiful places of peace and serenity.  It was anything but that for Jesus the night of his arrest.  And yet all of us have nights of garden wrestling, where the battle between choosing our way and God's rages.  In Part 4 of our Journey to the Cross series, guest preacher Pastor Will Sohnchen brings a powerful message on God's presence and purpose in the midst of our wrestling.

Catch the Updraft!

There is one thing we sometimes forget about eagles. . . they can't soar without an updraft!  Guest preacher Tim Schroeder brings a powerful message from Isaiah 40 about the work God does in our life when we we are in the lowest valley.  "Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope upon the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:30-31

The Life You Were Made For - Part 3 - Worship

We were made to worship, and if we don’t worship God, it doesn’t mean we cease to be a worshipper, we will just find something else to worship. That’s where we’re going in part 3 of our 4 part series "The Life You Were Made For”.  Guest preacher Glen Madden, chapplain at Kelowna Christian School, presents a dynamic picture of worship as a 24-7 reality.
