We launched the 2013 Baby Bottle Campaign for the Okanagan Valley Pregnancy Care Center this past Sunday, and it was great to see more than 130 bottles head home with KGF families to be filled with coins / bills / checks and returned on Fathers Day June 16th.  If you missed it Sunday, grab one this week.  Our goal is $15,000, which means 150 families contributing $100 each.  This really is a dynamic ministry that is helping hundreds of women, and you can make a difference.

What do we do when our best laid plans go awry?  For many, Mother's Day is not filled with flowers, cute cards and breakfast in bed.  Instead, Mother's Day reminds some of what is missing, and raises questions of why. 

We want to lean into this idea, and our prayer is that the God of comfort will move by His Holy Spirit in your lives as you engage.

This formative workshop helps The Journey participants reflect upon their calling and character, their experiences, passions, and competencies in the light of God’s ongoing work in the world, and thereby begin discovering what God’s particular purposes for their life could be. This 4-5 hour workshop provides participants with the necessary space and tools to prayerfully develop an initial draft of their own personal vision statement based on what they have discovered about themselves and the unique callings God has given them. The time will also provide a challenge to live out what they are discovering about who God has designed them to be and what he may be inviting them to do (Ephesians 2:10).
