Impact of Women's Bible Study
This may sound funny coming from a "pastor's wife", but it had been a long drought since I had taken part in a women's Bible study. In fact, I think this was my first (women's only) Bible study. I had experienced multi-age faceted groups, youth only groups and peer groups, but never a gender specific study. I think I was hesitant to be involved and not sure what to expect. But I have come to know that there is something about woman congregating together as a powerful force to change our homes, our relationships and our families through the impact of what Christ is doing in us and thorough us.
For those who might not know this about me, I am not a "fan" nor get excited about any one teacher, singer, band, famous person etc. But I have to say, Beth Moore has an amazing way of articulating what a woman FEELS and gives us scripture to "combat" those feelings so we might live out the TRUTHS and not just the feelings. She goes deeper, below the surface, and opens your mind to possibilities you may have not pondered. She teaches the word clearly, in depth and even though she may throw in a few new words you might not know yet....she makes the Bible understandable in a whole new way.
This has been something I look forward to EVERY week and Wednesday's with Beth has been a highlight of my fall season! And, we have childcare available! That was one reason that I was able to come. These ladies we have love our kids and love us enough to invest their time. What a blessing!
I didn't know how much I needed this bible study until I 'experienced' it! It is well worth the 25 dollar investment and your time, for you as a woman. Really there is no better investment you can make for your family, your friendships and your children than carving out 'time' for you and Jesus to meet. He wants to meet with you. He wants to give you the desires of your hearth. He wants to be your Bridegroom and take you to places in your heart you have never been. Come and meet with Him in a way you may not have done before, it is well worth the investment.
