Kendall Priebe - Vision & Spiritual Direction Kendall Priebe - Vision & Spiritual Direction KGF Church

My name is Kendall Priebe. I was born and raised in Cameroon, West Africa where my parents were missionaries. So as you can imagine, Christ was always a part of my life, and at an early age I believed that Jesus Christ was God, that He died for my sins, and with a childlike faith believed He was my Savior. But it wasn’t till later on in life that it would become “real” to me. I was baptized in 1989 at Trinity Baptist Church during one of our furloughs. This was special because my brothers and I were all baptized by our Dad on the same day.

In 1993, our family came back to Canada because our parents wanted us to graduate from a Canadian High School. Trinity Baptist Church quickly became our home church because of the youth program there. My brothers and I became involved with all the church functions such as choir tours, mission’s trips, and youth retreats.

After graduating, I attended North American Baptist College in Edmonton. It was here that I really started to learn about who God was and what it really means to have a personal relationship with Him. I started doing daily devotions, and really took a good look at myself spiritually. I started an accountability group of men where we could openly discuss all aspects of our daily lives.

Tamara and I have been attending KGF since Nov. 2010 and quickly became involved with the music ministry, and other areas such as The Emerging Journey and The Beth Moore study. We both love Christ’s Church dearly and firmly believe that His church is not just confined to the walls of our building.

I am both humbled and honored to have my name put forward to serve on the board and am excited to see how God will use my gifts and abilities to help our church in the coming years.

Our family, like many others here at KGF, is beginning to grow, and God has placed a burden in my heart to ensure that in the same way I want my son to grow in spiritual health and maturity, our church grows as well; being Grounded in the Bible, Guided by the Spirit, and Growing in Prayer.
