Camille Camille KGF

As a young child, Sunday School was about dressing up, looking pretty and hanging out with friends. I really enjoyed what attending church was about, but never really got to know the God of the church. Eventually at age ten, my family moved to a new community and I stopped attending church.

Around this time I started high school where I met my best friend (still to this day). After four years of being inseparable she invited me to her

church, which she had always talked about.  That same day tragedy struck in my family and her encouraging words not only reassured but challenged me to examine my life and eternity. It seemed the pastor at her church echoed the same message that Sunday, September 15, 1996 and I accepted Jesus as my Saviour and Lord.

After that I became very involved in church and was eager to learn God’s word.  God changed my thinking first, so it was evident to my unsaved family that there was a change in my behaviour and choices.  I was baptised in June 1997 in obedience to God’s word and to declare to the world how Jesus had transformed my life.

Over the years God has been so good to me. I know he never changes, even when I change and he never fails even when I fail. I know he loves me. It is His love that still drives me today.

My desire is to live out His plan for my life, because I am confident that only then, when the end comes, I will be able to say I lived the best possible life.

I will continue to trust God as he reveals Himself here in my new home and on this new adventure.
