Darryl Frasier Darryl Frasier KGF Church

I was raised on a farm in Alberta the 6th oldest in a family of 8 children. My parents received Christ as their personal Savior in 1942 so I was raised in a Christian home. Our fellowship was mostly led by my father and mother as it was too far to travel to a church. I was happy with a belief in God and Jesus.

At the age of 12 polio struck our community and took the lives of a couple of students in our local school. When my sister was struck with the disease, things changed. The chance of her surviving seemed impossible. When Mom and Dad left for Edmonton, we were left with the instructions to pray, that was my sister?s only hope. This was a time when God and Jesus became my closest friends. During this time I accepted Christ as my Savior. God was faithful and my sister was restored to nearly perfect health.

Living in this world I have done things I wished I had not and I thank God for forgiveness and His blessings of leading me through trials and temptations. God blessed me with a beautiful, caring Christian wife. We will celebrate our 45th anniversary this year. Another blessing we have had is the care and nurturing of three daughters, sometimes sweet and sometimes challenging. I continually thank God that our daughters have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. On Thanksgiving - Oct. 1984, we were all baptized in the same service. This is a blessing we will cherish forever.

We have 6 grandchildren, 3 boys and 3 girls. I love spending time with them, especially taking them outdoors, I love fishing, quading, snowmobiling, hunting and just being outdoors. Some of my closest times with God are when I am outdoors, alone with Him.

With the children gone, and having retired from 33 years of teaching, my best friend and soul mate, is my wife Elaine. We now have more time to spend praying, waiting upon the Lord and getting to know His will for us at this stage in our lives.

We have found KGF to be a friendly, Christ following Church and we are glad to become members. My favorite Scriptures are Ephesians 1:13-14; Psalm 23.
