Gus Gus KGF

As a young child, I was abandoned by my mother, to be adopted by nice family, but I didn’t feel like I fit in.  As I grew older I started to rebel, which eventually lead me into drugs and alcohol.  I accepted Jesus in 1993. I thought things would change right away but it didn’t. I think what was holding me back was the thought of not knowing my birth family.

So I started praying about it and in Feb. of 1994, I was able to make contact with my younger sister, and shortly after my oldest sister and birth mother.  It filled in the missing pieces of my life but I still felt alone and depressed.

Since all that, God has taken away the desire for alcohol and drugs. In 2003, I met this girl on line and in 2005, I married her. Even though I have had struggles, God has carried me through.

I know God has plans for us and I am looking forward to see what He has for our future.

My favorite Scripture verse is John 3:16.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.
