I have always seen God's hand of protection on my life: from the very beginning by being had in secret, to being adopted into the family that God chose for me.

I grew up in a partially Christian home. My mom was a strong influence on my life by introducing me to God and to church.

I became a Christian at Gardom Lake Bible Camp at the age of 12.  God had been speaking and pursuing me all week. At the Friday night camp fire I stayed behind and finally surrendered, and accepted Jesus as my Savior.  It felt like a weight had been lifted off of me, and I was free.

After this decision, my life has never been the same.  I am continually growing deeper in relationship with Him.

In the last two years especially, I have seen God provide like never before.  He led me to my husband, and together we have withstood many trials.   We have experienced both the highs and lows of being Christians, but with God's help, and each other for support, we have gotten through it all.  Now we are expecting our first child, and God's provision seems to have come full circle.

My life's verses are from Isaiah:

“But as for you, Israel my servant,

Jacob my chosen one,

descended from Abraham my friend.

I have called you back from the ends of the earth,

saying, 'You are my servant.'

For I have chosen you

and will not throw you away.

Don't be afraid, for I am with you

Don't be discouraged, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you.

I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Isaiah 41:8-10 NLT
