Growing up without love in my home has made me hunger for this precious gift in people, self and in different churches. Moving to Kelowna in December 2009 and my son bringing me to KGF started my new life that only Jesus and the Holy Spirit could fill.
I could see, hear and feel this gift of love all around me, week after week.
Finally, now, I know I will hear and learn all that Jesus brings to my new open heart.
This gift heals a multitude of problems and sin in our lives.
Jesus Christ is Lord and our salvation.
Mike Penninga is first a foremost a son of God, a husband of Michelle, a father of 3, and a pretty good tennis player. A grad of Trinity Western University and ACTS seminary with a background in broadcast journalism, Mike has a passion for sharing the life changing news of Jesus Christ in understandable and captivating ways. He has been the lead pastor at KGF since March 2009.
