Randy Randy KGF

I grew up in a small town in northern Alberta.  I spent all of my childhood living in fear. The fear came from my father constantly beating me, or my uncle’s fondness for young boys.

At around 14 I decided to fight back. That just got me beat worse, but I was determined.  I left for Vancouver.

By 15 I was a drug addict. I had a very bad temper, and would get very violent.  I spent a good part of my life in the drug trade and spent a lot of time hurting people for a living.

Three years ago I decided I was tired and had enough.       I moved into Freedom’s Door, a Christian based men’s recovery home here in Kelowna. I felt that I had lived in hell, so there had to be a Heaven.

After a lot of searching and very good council, Jesus made Himself known to me. God softened my heart.

Now I’m a full-time addiction worker at Freedom’s Door. I’m still surrounded by drug addicts, but now I’m there to help them, not hurt them.

I thank God for his grace, and for giving me a second chance.

Hi Randy,
It was good reading your testimony, and gaining a greater understanding of those who go through Freedom's Door. As one of the ladies who are on the Healing Prayer team, I wish you, and all the guys at Freedom's Door a very blessed Christmas, and pray you all can keep your eyes on Jesus and your new lives ahead.
May /god continue His good work in you until the day of completion. Bless you.
Pauline
