I don’t like relinquishing control. And that plays out in other parts of my life. If there is a map to be read, I’d like to have it in my hands. If there is a group to be led, I’d like to be calling the shots. If there is a remote control to be changed, I’d like to push the buttons.
At its core, I like to be on the throne. And I don’t think I’m alone. In fact, I think for many people, this issue of owning the throne is big.
