In Christ Alone! Philippians Part 5 In Christ Alone! Philippians Part 5 KGF Church

Have you ever looked at other people and said, in your heart, “I’m a better person than they are. . . I’m a superior Christian to them. . . look at the list of things I bring to God!”

When I look back at my own life, I think this summed up my attitude.  My rebellion growing up wasn’t one of following the ways of the world. . . it was this. . . placing confidence in myself, the flesh.  I thought I was pretty good, and that God was happy to have me on His team.

Maybe you’re like me.  Maybe you think that it’s easier for God to save you than others.  If you are, then this message by Pastor Mike Penninga might re-center you on what salvation is really about, and who is the orchestrator of it.  Part five of our seven part series on the book of Philippians entitled “Caution: God At Work!”

I am so grateful for a church family that knows their Bible! In this message, I mistakingly commented that Jesus came from the tribe of Benjamin. Several of you reminded me it was the tribe of Judah, so thank you, and please make that correction as you listen / watch! This is what I had in my notes, but mis-spoke them:
Family Background - Of the tribe of Benjamin:
Not one of the so called “lost tribes”, but of the tribe that gave Israel its first King, the tribe that remained true to King David’s reign when everyone else went astray.
Thanks for everyone who helps keep me on track! Blessings.
