There’s a difference between knowing facts about Jesus Christ, and the Bible, and allowing God to change you from the inside out.  Many people grow up knowing a lot about Christianity, but have never allowed Christ to transform them.  God is not interested in trivia but transformation, and that is the purpose of the Bible.
