Children are a gift from God, and child dedication is an opportunity we take to acknowledge that gift, and invite people to join us in raising them according to God's love and ways.  On Mother's Day, we had the privilege of dedicating baby Aviaana Jasmine Thiessen, and her parents James & Arnannguaq.  The next child dedication will take place Father's Day June 19th.

Mother's Day is a great day to launch our annual "Baby Bottle Fundraising Campaign" in support of the Okanagan Valley Pregnancy Care Center.  We are inviting our congregation to take a baby bottle home and fill it with change and bills and checks, bringing it back on Father’s Day June 19^th!  Here, Executive Director Theresa White shares the vision and purpose behind the pregnancy care center, and how we can help!  Find out more online at www.ovpcc.com  We are excited once again for this opportunity to be generous for such a great work.  

We believe strongly in our role of raising up the next generation, and are excited to see what is happening with our Kids Ministry, under the direction of Kristi Cooper.  Here Kristi unpacks what takes place on a typical Sunday morning in our upstairs programs.

Often in the Bible, whenever people were set aside for ministry there was a time of commissioning. We are excited to be able to do this in the KGF family as we see Jinger Goma join our staff team in the area of Associate Pastor of Community Life. 

Our vision statement will be Jinger’s job description: To create places of belonging where people can discover Jesus and be equipped to follow Him. His primary area of responsibilities will be developing our Life Group ministries, as well as oversight of Youth & Young Adults.
