"It Is Well" KGF Music Special with Laura Wilson

Written by

This powerful song has been ministering to our church family, and we wanted to share it with you.  The lyrics are truths we need to get deep into our daily lives.  Thanks Laura for sharing so beautifully!

"Through it all, through it all, My eyes are on You. So let go my soul and trust in Him. The waves and wind still know His name. It is well with my soul"

Congregation Meeting Video - Sunday October 25

Written by

We had our largest Congregation Meeting in years October 25th, with 140 people joining together for prayer, praise, and planning.

The environment was one of unity and excitement, as the church family overwhelmingly approved a decision to move forward with sponsorship of refugee families.  Affirmation also came for the financial and staffing map, as well as the "Way Forward" document. (You can download the package for the evening below)

So grateful to serve in such a wonderful, Outward living church family!

Two memorable characters on the beloved "Muppet Show" were Statler & Waldorf, balcony dwelling critics who loved to hurl insults and commentary on the hardworking Muppets on stage below. Pastor Mike uses this picture to speak of a larger spiritual truth, and how we can avoid being derailed by the critics in our lives. Full message online here -

University campuses can be hostile places when it comes to the things of God. So the question is do we abandon or embrace this opportunity?

James Perreaux from UBCO's University Christian Ministries spends a few minutes with Pastor Mike sharing the impact sowing seeds in what could be considered 'hard ground'.
