Ordinary Heroes - Common People. . . Uncommon God

Who would you look to as role models in your faith life?  The Bible is full of ordinary men and women who lived extraordinary lives because they were surrendered to the will of God.  KGF will be unpacking 10 such individuals during the months of January & February, five on the weekend services, and five in our Life Groups,

January 17th – Abraham – Faith Under Fire

(Life Group Study – Nathan)

January 24th – Joshua – Tent of Meeting

(Life Group Study – Hannah)

January 31st – Moses – What’s In Your Hand?

(Life Group Study – Miriam & Aaron)

February 7th – Gideon – Unconventional Wisdom

(Life Group Study – Elijah)

February 14th – Esther – For Such A Time as This

(Life Group Study – Daniel)

We are launching 13 Life Groups this week, in conjunction with our “Ordinary Heroes” series.  These groups meet weekly for five weeks in a home around Kelowna.  Our vision for Life Groups is to create a small group environment where people of all ages and stages of their journey with Jesus can be known by God and others, and are encouraged to move forward in impacting lives with the love of Christ.  If you don’t know which group you’re in, or want to join one, email office@kgfchurch.com or call 250-763-6553.

To coincide with this series, we are making available Max Lucado’s book “Cast of Characters”.  It’s a great devotional look at how God uses ordinary people for extraordinary things.  You can pick it up Sunday morning for $15.
