I feel so blessed to have been adopted into a Christian home at a young age. At the age of 10 I asked Jesus into my heart while attending Daybreak Point Bible Camp at Anvil Island. I was baptized at the age of 12 at South Main Gospel Hall & at age 14 I started to teach Sunday School & I did this for many years. I had a wonderful S.School teacher when I was young & he had us memorize many chapters of scripture which in difficult times I can rely on to encourage & comfort me. At the age of 23 I was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer & the doctors felt that my prognosis was grim. We had a one year old son at the time & he is now 47 & I have been given the blessing of watching my grandchildren grow. Our Lord is able!! I do deal with several health challenges daily one of which is Chronic Kidney Failure, however I experience the faithfulness of God daily. The verse that has meant the most to me in the last few years is Jeremiah 29:11(The Message): “I know what I am doing. I have it all planned out…plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”
