Twice a year our church family gathers for the specific purpose of celebrating God’s faithfulness and prayerfully planning for where we sense He is calling us. These are significant and important meetings, and we would invite you to mark your calendar and make plans to be present. All welcome! The Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 28th. 3-5 pm in the HUB. Join us as we celebrate, pray, and plan for the future life of KGF.

We are preparing to have the nursery open (parent supervision) and hoping to have a space for kids as we are able to find volunteers. Contact if you’re able to help.

Stephen Minister Information night in October

Caring for people in need is at the heart of KGF’s pastoral care ministry and we are seeking to begin selecting a second team of Stephen Ministers to begin training to provide one-to-one Christian Care to others.

We are again inviting those who have the gifts of mercy, faith, and encouragement to consider joining us in our Stephen Ministry at KGF.

A Stephen Minister is a fellow Christian who is able to share their time to walk beside a person who is impacted by the struggles of life such as illness, death, job loss, spiritual crises, or other losses.

We would love to have a conversation with those who are interested in Stephen Ministry or know of someone who would be.

Information Pamphlets on Becoming A Stephen Minister are at the Starting Point Desk & an Information Evening is being hosted on Sunday, October 28th at 6:30 pm at KGF.

If you have any questions, please contact:

PrimeTime rides Wood Lake

PrimeTime took to the trails again on September 8th for a ride around Wood Lake. It was a great time of riding, enjoying connection, and checking out a new riding area for many who came. Enjoy the pictures, and come out in October for our next event. We’d love to see you. Watch for more news to come this week.

September Child dedication day

At KGF, we believe that children are a gift from God. Children are a high priority and value to us!

Child Dedication is a joyful opportunity for parents to acknowledge God’s incredible blessing of children as a gift from God (Psalm 127:3)

It is also formal recognition that the child belongs to God (Psalm 24:1) and a public commitment on the part of the parents and body of Christ to teach God’s Word and encourage them in their spiritual development.

Our next Child Dedication day is September 30th. Please contact Colleen if you would like to be a part of this celebration and commitment day. We will do this at both services.

Email for more information.

The Journey is an intentional season to go deeper into being a disciple of Jesus.

Please join us. Dates and times are variable according to what the group decides.
