We had such a FANTASTIC time at our Pajamas and Pancake party on Friday! Thanks to all that came out and helped make it truly a family event. We loved the parent pillow case race, very impressive. Also a giant thanks to our team of volunteers, couldn’t have done it without you! Stay tuned to the next fun event.
More than 70 people gathered together for a fun night of food, music, testimony & relationship building at IMPACT’s latest event. The group enjoyed the music from a community Barbershop Singing Group, plus testimony from Ron & Laura Redner. IMPACT meets the first Thursday of each month at KGF and is geared for people 60 and over.
We love taking a look at what’s happening in our growing KGF Youth Ministry. These photos (thanks Ethan!) are from a B.I.G. event this past Tuesday, where the youth took over the Sanctuary (and really the whole church!) for an incredible evening of fun (with Devan Scollon), worship (Dan & team), and a powerful evangelistic message by Pastor Marcus. We have room for your teens, grade 6 – 12, Tuesday nights, 7pm @ KGF.
Grateful to Matt Szymkow from http://www.sublimephotography.ca/ for capturing these beautiful images / memories from Christmas in the City 2016 @ the Kelowna Community Theatre. This event reached more than 1,500 people in person, another 500 online, with many seeds being planted and resources being requested. Praise God!
We love how our KGF Church Family wants to live a Christmas of Compassion, Not Consumption. That was the heart behind our third annual Opportunities Expo, where we welcomed 11 great organizations to share ways for us to maximize our time / talents / treasures. Kids were sponsored, shoes & eye-glasses were gathered, appointments were booked for blood donation, volunteers made connection. It was incredible! Look forward to hearing & seeing the “ripple effect” of these pebbles in action
