Sundays at KGF

Sundays

Our main touch points are the Sunday services, 9:00am & 10:45am in the Sanctuary, where we gather to worship God through music, prayer, Bible-teaching, and so much more. We are committed to being a place that teaches the word of God in an understandable and relevant fashion. We unashamedly hold up the Bible to be the standard of wisdom and truth, which is God’s gift for us to know Him and impact others.

Sundays are also a key time to connect with and encourage one another, during the service, in the foyer before and after the service, and during Coffee Time in the HUB after each service. KGF is an exciting place to be!

Children’s Ministry

Kids are a big deal here at KGF!  In fact, our heart is to build a church family where kids can grow up discovering Jesus and being equipped to follow Him. Lots of places to do that, but our primary touch point is Sunday mornings during the 9:00am and 10:45 services.  We have room for you and your kids!

You can contact our Children’s Ministries Director, Sue Gagnon, for more info, sue@kgfchurch.com

Prayer Ministry

One of our core values at KGF is prayer. We believe that prayer absolutely changes things, including us. Our prayer ministry team members are available after Sunday morning services to pray with you. You can also email your prayer requests to prayer@kgfchurch.com.

Front Lines

The front lines teams are the first faces people see when they come to KGF on Sunday mornings. This team is important in creating a welcoming environment and a huge part of helping to make KGF feel like home. There are three main areas you can get involved:

Greeters: Welcome people at the door, direct them to where they need to go and provide information as required.
Usher: Welcome the church family, distribute bulletins, receive the offering, count attendance, and provide assistance in emergencies.
Starting Point Desk: Provide information about weekly programs and ministries, help people find their place in the KGF church family.

If you have any questions or would like to serve in one of these areas, please contact Jeanne Acheson at jeanne@kgfchurch.com or 250-763-6553 (ext 105).

Technical Ministries

At KGF, we look at technology as a tool we can leverage to advance our mission: to know Jesus and to make Him known. Sound technicians, media operators, camera operators, and video mixers all make the technical part of our Sunday morning service a possibility. Video has been a vital part of KGF’s online ministry, and this past year, we expanded this ministry to include Live Streaming of our 9:00am & 10:45am services.

Coffee Time

Do you love baking? Do you enjoy blessing people through food and hospitality? Maybe helping at Coffee Time is a great place to share your gift! Coffee Time provides a wonderful opportunity for connection and hospitality. It helps facilitate our growth as a church family. It is such a joy to see the KGF HUB full of people chatting over coffee, tea, and goodies.

Email office@kgfchurch.com to get involved.

Music Ministry

“God is looking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth”. (John 4:23)

These words from the lips of Jesus encapsulate the purpose KGF’s Music Ministry. Our desire is to be a Spirit-led ministry, driven by a passion for God’s glory, presenting our expressions of worship through music and creativity with a spirit of excellence, grounded in biblical truth.

Email caleb@kgfchurch.com for more information about our music ministry.
