Easter 2017 @ KGF - Sunday April 16, 8:30am, 10:15am, 6:00pm, and live online, www.kgfchurch.com/stream
It was our highest attended, and perhaps most joy-filled, Annual General Meeting in a long time at KGF. And the good news is the Church family has come together to affirm the direction and help open the way for a new season that is to come! From affirming new Board members to passing the 2017 budget, those in attendance stood together for what God is up to and what lies ahead.
"This is not how we're going to act. . .this is not what we're going to be around. . . this is not what we will be known for."
Jesus explains in no uncertain terms that greatness in his kingdom is defined by service not status.
Here's 60 seconds with Pastor Mike from the message, "Upside Down Kingdom", part 12 of our series, "Jesus the King", available online here - https://kgfchurch.com/messages/jesus-the-king-gospel-of-mark/jesus-the-king-gospel-of-mark-part-12-upside-down-kingdom
March 6 represents Mike Penninga's 8th anniversary as Pastor at KGF. As part of the 2017 Annual General Meeting, Pastor Mike took time to reflect back on those 8 years, and lays out 8 reasons we have to celebrate.
Board Chair Wayne Laurie had an idea for our Annual General Meeting. . . give everyone blocks of wood and invite them to build the tallest tower. At first people just used those blocks from their own table. . .but the smart ones began to invite others to join together. . . proving that we are indeed better together! Here's the results (and thankfully no one got injured in this illustration!) Stay tuned for video from this amazing night posted soon online,
Great to be part of this first class event... Strides to End Homelessness with the Kelowna Gospel Mission. 5 km walk and 10 km run raised more than 43 thousand dollars with 300 walkers / runners / volunteers. Proud of Kelowna Gospel Fellowship church family including our Young Adults who raised nearly 8,000 dollars from 30 participants. Huge win. More online, www.kelownagospelmission.ca
Belonging. . . Family. . . the Gospel. . . Support. . . Strength. . . Jesus!

As a Church family, we are gathering Monday March 6th for our Annual General Meeting, 7pm in the HUB. Pastor Mike takes 45 seconds to invite you to join us as we celebrate what God has done and prayerfully plan for what is ahead, including the 2017 Budget. We want & need you there!
