Mark 7:1-8

Where do you get your news? How do you know you can trust it? How many hands and translations has the news traveled through before it reaches your ears and eyes? What if you could always trust the news because it's as if you were right there when it happened?

We all want to know what's happening as its happening as accurately as possible, but today as it was in Jesus day we rely on others to get us our news and there is a huge margin of error. The "traditions of the elders" were teachings passed on by religious leaders up to Jesus' coming but they had become distorted over time. Let's find out how Jesus corrects things, and points us back to the one source we can trust.
