Lead Pastor – Mike PenningaMike Penninga is first a foremost a son of God, a husband of Michelle, a father of 3, and a pretty good tennis player. A grad of Trinity Western University and ACTS seminary with a background in broadcast journalism, Mike has a passion for sharing the life changing news of Jesus Christ in understandable and captivating ways. He has spoken to thousands of students and young adults over the past dozen years, challenging them to invest their lives in that which is eternal. Mike's most recent ministry assignment saw him lead Alive Ministries at Willow Park Church, a place where hundreds of young adults gathered to invite God to awaken their souls and transform their lives. Kids Ministries Director - Kristi CooperKristi Cooper is passionate about teaching children and about loving Jesus. She is incredibly blessed to be able to put two things that she loves so much together for her work. She is also a mother of three beautiful children and wife to an incredible husband. After high school Kristi followed her love of teaching and completed her Bachelors of Education at the University of Victoria. She then continued on to teach in both the Saanich and Kelowna School Districts at a variety of grade levels over the past ten years. Kristi’s history with Kelowna Gospel Fellowship began more than twenty years ago when she was invited to attend Pioneer Girls with a friend from school. Kristi and her family began calling KGF home again in the Fall of 2008. Being able to serve in the church that was so instrumental in her journey with Christ is a true privilege! Worship Ministries Director - Josh SmithJoshua Smith is a passionate Jesus follower who's passion for music worship leadership is fueled by his love for God. Joshua has been leading worship for over 10 years with seasoned experience of styles, generational leadership all over Canada and the US. He is very excited to be a part of the KGF family directing the music/arts department. Joshua has been married to his beautiful wife Sarah for 3 years. Secretary – Judy Von HollenI am a child of God, working as receptionist at KGF for about a year and a half. I was raised in KGF and praise God for the sound teaching from the leaders.
