Pillars of a Worshiping Community
Acts 2:42-47

Jerusalem after the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus was marked by the explosion of a new religion. Jesus' disciples sparked a revolution unlike any other in history as people from all over the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe witnessed the events of pentecost, and heard the gospel in their own languages. About 3,000 people became followers of "the way" that day and became new creations in Christ Jesus. Their faithful lives as the early church was marked with trials and persecution, but nothing could stamp out the movement of God's Kingdom. So what made these radicals so effective? And how can we learn from their way of being an unstoppable worshiping community?
