Radical Roots: 500 years of Anabaptist Faithfulness

Radical Roots: 500 Years of Anabaptist Faithfulness

1 Corinthians 3:11

500 years ago, a fire was lit in the hearts of young believers who dared to follow Jesus with radical conviction. Born in the midst of persecution, the Anabaptist movement defied the norms of its day—insisting that faith must be personal, Scripture must lead, and discipleship must be costly. This Sunday, we’ll trace the Spirit’s movement from the Reformation to those early house churches, to the birth of the Mennonite Brethren, discovering how their story still shapes ours. Come ready to be challenged and inspired as we remember our roots and reclaim our calling to be people of the Book, the towel, and the basin.
