What is the clearest evidence that God lives among us? Is it our preaching, our programs, our music, our confession, or even our acts of charity? Or is it our love for one another?

Has our church attendance produced the visible fruit of love?

In John's writings, we see how the unseen God made His love visible in Christ and how that same love must now be made visible in His people. John presses us to examine whether God’s abiding love is truly in us if it does not move outward toward our church family.

The world cannot see God. But it can see the church. And Jesus says our love for one another will reveal who we belong to.
