Lunch with a Bunch Wrap-Up – May 19

We had a wonderful time at our final Lunch with a Bunch gathering on May 19! Everyone enjoyed a fun picnic theme complete with picnic favourites and delicious ice cream bars for dessert.

A couple of teams battled it out in an exciting game of Jeopardy, including one question that stumped everyone: What insect was introduced to the Okanagan over 80 years ago to help control grasshoppers? We were surprised to learn the answer was the praying mantis!

Sandy also shared heartfelt stories about how the Lord speaks to her and teaches her through the beauty of nature. She encouraged us to be open to “manna moments” with the Lord as we enjoy the summer season.

While Lunch with a Bunch will return in September, we’ve planned a few casual summer gatherings to stay connected. Join us at Cameron Park on June 16, July 14, and August 11 for a relaxed visit and fellowship with others.
