Sept. Lunch with a Bunch

On Tuesday, September 9, our Lunch with a Bunch group had our fall kick off. The theme was celebration, so we celebrated many things: milestone birthdays and anniversaries and some quiet ministries at KGF. We interviewed Ernie and Irene Campbell who celebrated 70 years together. Martha Engel shared how at 94, she's still knitting to make blankets for others. We heard how Harry and Martha Koop began the hub after church coffee time many years ago and what so many are doing today to bring that to us today. Irene told us about the prayer chain and a wonderful answer to prayer...and we wrote and celebrated answers to our prayers. We cheered on all who are quietly serving in these ways in our midst. We had a special cake and a great meal as we always do and we closed with a time of prayer. We can't wait to meet again on October 14th. Come and join us then.
