The Church Does Not Have the Mission: The Mission Has the Church
Jesus is the Creator, Sustainer, and Reconciler of everything. His life, death, and resurrection have established peace between heaven and earth and laid the foundation of reconciliation for all nations
(Colossians 1:15-20).
Moreover, Jesus commands his Church to continue in God’s mission of reconciling the nations by sending His Spirit to lead them into the world (2 Corinthians 5:18-20; Matthew 28: 19-20; Acts 1: 8).
