Do God's Promises Expire
Do promises expire? Most of us would say yes. People change. Life happens. Even the best intentions have a shelf life. But what if the most important promise ever made is still in effect - four thousand years later?
In Exodus 33, we find a moment where God was ready to walk away from his people. A people who had witnessed miracle after miracle and still managed to build a golden calf forty days later. Sound familiar?
And yet there was one man who refused to let God walk away. Who stood in the gap and appealed to a promise made to one man under a night sky - a promise that had never once come off.
We are asking what that means for us today. Because according to Galatians 3:29 - that four thousand year old promise has your name on it.
