Exodus 32

Who enjoys waiting?  We wait for alot of things in life...often things that are important to us.  Seasons of waiting can test not only our patience but also our trust in God.  When Moses remained on the mountain longer than Israel expected, the people grew anxious and took matters into their own hands, creating a golden calf as a substitute for the God who seemed distant.  Their experience challenges us to ask, What do we turn to when God seems silent or slow?  In seasons of waiting, we are tempted to manufacture our own solutions, but God calls us to remain faithful, trusting that His apparent delay is not His absence.

Exodus 32 invites us to resist the pressure to take control, remember God’s faithfulness, and believe that even when we cannot see what He is doing, He is still worthy of our trust.
