The Unchanging God of the Waters
The plagues have swept through Egypt. The Passover has occurred. The Pharaoh has finally submitted and let God’s people go. Or has he? Now, stuck in between the sea and a determined Egyptian army, the Israelites are faced with danger and difficulty before they can truly leave the country. Once again, they are unsure of following Moses out of Egypt. But God knows what he is doing. He has a plan to lead his people to victory. And that has remained true for all time. Are you in between a dangerous or difficult place in your life?
Join us this Sunday as we recognize God’s character in leading his people through the Red Sea, how Jesus leads his disciples through their moments of fear, and how the Spirit leads us, even now, out of the difficult and dangerous places we might feel trapped in.
