Unreliable Allies: Good New People in a Political World
Did you offer your voice by voting in the municipal and provincial elections? Do you have friends or relatives who debated the ten questions of Alberta's referendum?
Do you feel the tensions and shifting sands of today's politics? Do you just ignore the bluster? Do you get angry and anxious about what politicians do - or don't do?
We are sent into an unavoidably political world as Good News people. How do we do that? Does the Gospel have anything to do with this at all?
This will be our debate this week as we seek to obey Jesus's commission to go and make disciples of this city, province and nation. Should be a real party (see what we did there?)!
