Refusing to be a Peacekeeper
In the name of peace, Jesus refused to be a peacekeeper. Instead, he came to make peace in every aspect of our world and our lives through his death on the cross. Jesus did not say to us, “Blessed are the peacekeepers.” Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” As good news people, how do we move from just ‘keeping the peace to courageously disrupting the brokenness of our world with the consuming shalom peace that Jesus modelled for us?
